Okay, here is my blog post about my experience with the Yamaha XTX 125:

So, I finally got my hands on a Yamaha XTX 125. I’d been eyeing this bike for a while, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey getting to this point. First off, I did a ton of research online. Seems like these bikes hold their value pretty well, which is good news.
I started by looking at used ones, because, you know, budget. I found about 67 listings online. Yeah, I went through every single one. It was tiring, but hey, gotta know what’s out there, right? I saw some older models, like from 2007, going for around 2,200 euros. They had like 45,000 kilometers on them, and around 12 bhp. That got me thinking about the price range and what I could expect.
Then I got serious and started asking for official price quotes. I even thought about buying two, with different colors, just for fun. I got a quote for a new one, the price was around 115,000 rupees. That’s a good chunk of change. Add in all those extra charges – RTO, road tax, insurance, it really adds up!
I also looked up the 2024 model. The price in the Philippines is about 89,900 pesos, which is a bit cheaper. It’s got a 124cc engine and a 5-speed gearbox. The seat is pretty high, 840 mm, and the whole thing weighs 118 kg. I found a video online where a rider hit 112 km/h with some modifications. That’s pretty fast for a 125cc bike!
My Purchase Decision
- Research: Spent hours checking online listings and forums.
- Price Quotes: Got official quotes and compared new and used prices.
- Specs: Learned about the engine, gearbox, weight, and other details.
- Test Ride: Went to a local dealer and finally got to ride one.
- Finalized: After much thought, finally decided to go for it and bought one!
After all that, I finally went to a local dealer and took one for a test ride. It felt great! The handling was smooth, and it had enough power for my needs. So, I pulled the trigger and bought it. Now, I’m just waiting for it to be delivered. I’m so excited to start riding it around town and maybe even take it on some longer trips. It’s been a long process, but I think it’s going to be worth it!

I will keep update for my riding experience in the future!
