Okay, so the end of the year was creeping up, faster than I liked, really. Looked up at the wall and saw the old calendar, almost done. Time flies, right?
Needed a new one for 2024. I started thinking about what kind I wanted this time. You know, something easy on the eyes, maybe a bit calming. And then it hit me – Robert Duncan. I’ve always liked his stuff. Reminds me of simpler times, maybe?
Finding the Right One
So, I decided, yeah, let’s get a Robert Duncan calendar for 2024. First thing I did was just hop online. Typed it in, you know, “Robert Duncan calendars 2024”.
Took a little bit of clicking around. Saw a few options pop up from different places. Some looked like the usual wall calendars, which is what I was after. Didn’t want anything too fancy.
- Checked a couple of the big online bookstore sites first. Sometimes they have them.
- Then I looked at some sites that specialize more in calendars and art prints.
- Eventually found the specific 2024 one I was looking for. Looked pretty good, classic Duncan scenes.
Getting It Home
Found one that seemed right, the standard wall calendar size. The price looked okay, nothing crazy. So, I went ahead and ordered it. Just clicked the button, filled out the usual info. Pretty straightforward process, thankfully.
It arrived a few days later. Simple package, nothing damaged. Pulled it out, flipped through the months. Yep, that familiar style. Nice, sturdy paper too, which is always a plus. Hate those flimsy calendars.
Hanging it Up
Took down the old 2023 calendar. A little bittersweet, another year gone. But then I got the new Duncan one ready. Found a good spot for it in the kitchen, where I see it every day. Put a fresh nail in, hung it up.
Feels good having it there. Each month has that quiet, country feel to it. Just nice artwork to look at when I’m grabbing coffee in the morning. Happy I went with it again this year. Simple, but makes me feel good.
