Okay, so I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, and today I finally got around to it! I’m a huge fan of “The Peanut Butter Falcon,” and I’ve always been curious about where they actually shot the movie. It just has that awesome, authentic Southern vibe, you know?
So, first, I fired up my trusty laptop and opened Google. My go-to move for pretty much anything these days. I typed in something simple like “peanut butter falcon filming locations” – nothing fancy.
Scouring the Internet
The search results? Pretty much what I expected. A bunch of articles and film blogs popped up. I started clicking through a few of them, skimming for the good stuff.
I found out quickly that a lot of the movie was filmed in Georgia. Makes sense, right? It definitely has that Georgia look. Specifically, I saw mentions of places like Savannah and some smaller towns I hadn’t heard of before.
Digging Deeper
I try my best to remeber details from what I watched:
- I noticed a lot of scenes were on the water. It is said that they used real rivers and waterways, not some studio-made set.
- I remembered some scenes in a really charming, old-timey town. The movie seemed like it was filmed on location.
- Some dock and some crab catching scenes.
Putting It All Together
So, after an hour or so of clicking around and reading, here’s what I figured out, without getting into too much boring detail:
- Georgia is the main star: A big chunk of the movie magic happened in Georgia, especially around the coast.
- Real places, real feel: They used actual locations which gave the movie that down-to-earth vibe.
All in all, it was a fun little research project. I didn’t become an expert, but I definitely satisfied my curiosity. Now, when I watch “The Peanut Butter Falcon” again, I’ll have a better appreciation for the scenery and how it all came together!
