After all this “research,” I’ve come to the conclusion that “soft” can mean a lot of different things. It could be a compliment, a criticism, or something in between. It really boils down to the guy’s personality, the way he said it, and the overall vibe of our relationship. I finally, decided to ask my guy friend. He explained to me he means “I am gentle, kind, and empathetic”. So I figured out the meaning.
For now, I’m choosing to take it as a positive thing. Maybe he likes that I’m not afraid to show my emotions, or that I’m a good listener, or that I’m just generally a nice person. And if it turns out he meant it in a negative way? Well, then we’ll have a conversation. Communication is key, people!
