Well, I hear folks talkin’ ’bout them Bulls games, and where to see ’em. It’s all a big fuss, ain’t it? I don’t know much about fancy things, but I can tell you what I heard. If you wanna watch the Chicago Bulls, it ain’t that hard. I mean, there are lots of ways, you just gotta know where to look.

So, I heard there’s this thing called Chicago Home Sports Network. Sounds fancy, huh? If you live around here, you can probably get it. They say it’s the Bulls’ local broadcaster, whatever that means. Just means they show the Bulls games, I reckon. It’s like when you see old Martha’s chickens on her porch every morning – they’re always there, just like the Bulls on that channel.
Then there’s these other channels, like ABC and ESPN, and somethin’ called NBA TV. Now, them’s for games that everyone in the whole country can watch. I don’t rightly know why some games are special like that, but they are. You can find them channels if you have that fubo thing. Don’t ask me what fubo is, it’s one of them new-fangled things, I’m sure. Sounds like somethin’ you’d feed a pig, but I guess it’s for watchin’ TV. They say you can watch the nationally televised games there. And there’s even an extra thing for fubo, some NBA League Pass. I guess if you really, really like basketball, you get that.
Now, if you’re a real big NBA fan, you know, one of them folks who can’t get enough of that ball bouncin’, you can get this NBA League Pass. They say it lets you watch all them games that ain’t in your area. If you want it you have to pay the price, you know. Nothing is free. Like, if the Bulls are playin’ a team way out west, you can see it with that pass. Don’t ask me why you’d wanna watch any team other than the Bulls, but I guess some folks do. I guess it’s like when my neighbor, Mildred, watches them soap operas. I don’t get it, but she loves ’em.
Now, some folks don’t have that cable thing anymore. They got these streaming things. It’s like gettin’ your water from a well instead of the pump. Different, but it’s still water. One of them is called DirecTV Stream. They say it’s the only one that has that CHSN, that Chicago Home Sports Network thing, for the Bulls games. But you gotta be in the Bulls’ broadcast region, whatever that is. I guess it’s like how you can only get Mrs. Higgins’ apple pie if you’re in her kitchen.
There are other streaming things too. YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and that fubo thing again. They all let you watch some Bulls games, but not all of ’em. I heard YouTube TV is good. You can watch the Bulls games on NBC Sports Chicago, ABC, and ESPN. That is good for Bulls fans. It’s like havin’ a whole bunch of different pies to choose from at the county fair. You got your apple, your cherry, your pecan… you get the idea. You can watch the game live on that NBC Sports Chicago. It’s like watchin’ the sunrise live, I suppose.

And who’s talkin’ during these games? I heard it’s Chuck Swirsky and Bill Wennington. They call the action, whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ from one of them wild west shows. Then there’s Steve Kashul, he’s there before the game, I guess to warm folks up. I imagine it’s like when my grandson gets all excited before his birthday party, runnin’ around and tellin’ everyone what’s gonna happen. It is all about what channel is the bulls.
I heard the Bulls won against the Celtics. It is good news. Someone named Zach LaVine played real good. He made a lot of those three-point shots. I don’t know much about that, but it sounds mighty impressive. It’s like when my rooster, Rusty, crows louder than all the other roosters in the county. He’s just showin’ off, I reckon.
So there you have it. That’s what I know about watchin’ them Bulls games. It’s a lot of rigmarole, ain’t it? I’ll stick to my radio, thank you very much. But if you’re set on seein’ them play, I hope this helps you figure it out. It ain’t as simple as plantin’ corn, that’s for sure.
- Chicago Home Sports Network for local games.
- ABC, ESPN, NBA TV for national games.
- fubo, DirecTV Stream, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV for streaming.
- NBA League Pass for all out-of-market games.
That’s all I know. It is not easy to know what channel is the bulls. Good luck, and go Bulls! Or whatever you’re supposed to say.
