Okay, so, I was trying to figure out what channel this Chiefs vs. Dolphins game was on. It’s a Wild Card game, which I guess is a big deal in the NFL. Anyway, I really wanted to watch it, but I couldn’t for the life of me find it on my regular TV channels.

First, I grabbed my remote and started flipping through all the usual sports channels. Nothing. Then I checked the guide, you know, the on-screen thing that tells you what’s playing. Still nothing. I even checked all the news channels’ sports segments, hoping they’d mention it. No luck.
So, feeling a bit lost, I did what anyone would do – I went online. I started searching for the game schedule, where to watch it, all that stuff. I found out the game starts at 8 p.m. ET, which is 5 p.m. where I am. Great, I knew when to tune in, but still no idea where.
Then I dug a little deeper. Turns out, if you’re in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, you can catch the game on WTVJ Channel 6. But, here’s the kicker – for the rest of us, it’s only on this streaming service called Peacock. Seriously? A streaming service? I mean, I have a bunch of subscriptions already, but Peacock wasn’t one of them.
And get this, it’s not even on regular TV. It’s like they made it exclusive to this one streaming platform. I also saw something about it being the first prime-time game of the weekend, which makes it even more of a big deal, I suppose.
I also stumbled upon some info saying you can watch Chiefs games on your local CBS station when they’re scheduled and available in your area, but it didn’t look like that applied to this specific game.

So, after all that searching, I realized I had to make a choice. Either I sign up for yet another streaming service, or I miss the game. I ended up caving and getting Peacock, just for this game. It felt a bit much, but hey, I really wanted to watch the Chiefs and Dolphins play.
It was a whole process, but that’s how I found out where to watch the Chiefs vs. Dolphins game. It wasn’t as simple as I thought it would be, that’s for sure.
