Alright, so the Madden 24 ratings started trickling out, and you know I had to see where they put our Titans. It’s become a bit of a ritual for me each year, just gotta check the pulse, see how the EA folks are feeling about the team.
First thing I did was just hop online. Didn’t go anywhere specific right away, just kinda browsed my usual sports spots, forums, places where that kinda news pops up. Saw the chatter starting, people already arguing about ratings, the usual stuff.
So, I typed “Titans Madden 24 ratings” into the search bar. Simple as that. Got a bunch of hits, sports sites, fan sites, probably the official EA stuff somewhere in there too. I usually click on a couple just to cross-reference, make sure the numbers are consistent.
Checking the Key Guys
You know who I looked for first. Had to see Derrick Henry‘s rating. He’s the King, gotta make sure they gave him his due respect, even with the mileage. Then, flipped over to the defense, needed to find Jeffery Simmons. Big Jeff is the heart of that D-line, curious where they put him amongst the top guys.
I scanned the top overall ratings for the team too. Found guys like Kevin Byard up there as expected. It gives you a quick first impression.
Digging a Bit Deeper
After the stars, I started poking around the different positions.
- Checked the QB spot. Saw Tannehill’s rating, then looked for Will Levis, wanted to see what number they slapped on the rookie before he’s even taken a real snap. Always interesting.
- Looked at the O-line. Yeah, that’s always a point of interest, isn’t it? Scanned through the starters, saw where they put Skoronski as a rookie.
- Checked the receivers. Burks, Hopkins now… wanted to see how that shaped up in the game’s eyes.
- Flipped through the defensive ratings too – linebackers, corners, safeties. Just getting a feel for the depth according to the game.
Didn’t spend hours on it, you know? Just scrolled through, made some mental notes. “Okay, they rated him pretty fair,” or “Wow, they really dinged that guy.” Sometimes I compare it in my head to last year’s launch ratings, see who’s trending up or down in their virtual world.
It’s not like these ratings are gospel or anything, but it’s part of the fun leading up to the season and the game’s release. Seeing the numbers, forming your own opinions, arguing with buddies about who got snubbed. So yeah, that was my process – just searching, scanning, and seeing what the Madden creators thought about the Titans this year. Pretty straightforward stuff.
