Yesterday, I wanted to watch the 49ers game. I’m a huge fan, you know, but I just couldn’t remember which channel it was on. It’s always a hassle, right?

So, first, I grabbed my phone and started searching on the web. The first thing I saw was something about CBS. It said something like, “When scheduled, you can watch 49ers games live on your local CBS TV station.” Alright, that’s a start. I turned on my TV and checked the local CBS station.
- Turned on the TV.
- Browsed the channels.
- Found the local CBS station.
Unfortunately, no game was on. Bummer! Then, I read a bit more and found out that you can sometimes stream the games with Paramount+. I don’t have that, so I moved on.
Digging Deeper
I kept searching and found another bit of info about Amazon Prime Video. Apparently, for some games, especially those not broadcast nationally, Amazon Prime Video is the place to go. So, I thought, “Why not?” I do have Amazon Prime, and opened the app on my Smart TV. But again, nothing.
I scrolled down a little further and noticed something about a personalized schedule. “Get a personalized view of the San Francisco 49ers schedule based on your location and services,” it said. Sounded cool, but I wasn’t sure how to do that on my phone.
Final Try
Feeling a little defeated, I looked at the last piece of info. It mentioned Fox as a TV channel and Fubo as a live stream option for the U.S. DAZN for Canada. “The 49ers’ next game is Sunday, Nov. 10,” it said. Well, that explained it! The game wasn’t today.

So, after all that, I realized the game wasn’t even scheduled for yesterday. It is kind of a letdown, but at least now I have a better idea of where to look next time. I’ll keep CBS, Amazon Prime Video, and Fox in mind, and maybe check out that personalized schedule thing later.
