Walt, he was a steelworker. Worked on them big buildings, way up high. Scared the living daylights outta me, just thinking about it. Not Walt though. He was tough as nails, that one. Worked hard, earned his keep. He was a good man, that Walt Zembriski. Worked with his hands. Not like these young folks today, all tapping away on their phones.
He did something else, too. Played golf. You know, that game with the little ball and the sticks? He was good, real good. They called it the Champions Tour.

Golf and Steel
Now, you wouldn’t think a steelworker would be good at golf, would ya? But Walt, he surprised everyone. He could hit that little ball further than you could spit. Won some big prizes, too. Made a name for himself, Walt Zembriski did. People knew him. He was on the TV, even! Imagine that. A regular guy, working hard, then going out and winning at golf. He was something else.
He played with some other fellas, one was named John Heine, I reckon. They were both good, from what I heard. People talked about them, ‘specially Walt. Said he was a natural. He was just a regular guy, playing that rich man’s game. And winning, too! Makes you proud, don’t it? Shows you that anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it. Just like us regular folks.
Working Hard, Playing Hard
