Upgrade to Alpine 2022 Today: Heres Why You Should Make the Switch Now

Okay, let’s talk about what I did with Alpine in 2022. It was a busy year, to say the least.

Upgrade to Alpine 2022 Today: Heres Why You Should Make the Switch Now

First off, I got my hands dirty with the new version of Alpine as soon as it dropped. I’m the type of guy who likes to stay updated, you know? So, yeah, I made sure my servers were running the latest Alpine version. I set up automatic reboots every Sunday night. Smooth move, right? I mean, these reboots are so quick, it’s almost unnoticeable. But hey, if something critical pops up, I’ll jump in and do a manual reboot. Better safe than sorry.

The Alpine Premium Audio System Saga

Then there was this whole thing with the Alpine premium audio system in my ’21 Rubicon. Now, I’m no audiophile, but I like my music to sound decent, and the factory setup was, well, acceptable. But acceptable isn’t good enough, is it? I heard some chatter online about swapping out speakers and upgrading the amp. So I thought, why not? I started with replacing the four door speakers with some Kickers I found. Man, what a difference! It was like night and day compared to the factory setup. It made me so happy I did it.

Dabbling in Formula One

Oh, and I got a bit sidetracked with Formula One. Did you hear that Renault changed their team name to Alpine F1 Team? Yeah, they’re promoting the Alpine brand. I spent way too much time reading about the new team name and colors. Also about the drivers, Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan. I watched quite a few races too. It was a nice break from all the tech stuff, to be honest.

CES 2022 and Alpine Halo

And let’s not forget CES 2022. Alpine announced these new Halo receivers, the 9-inch and 11-inch ones, with wireless built-in. I didn’t buy them or anything, but they looked pretty sweet. I spent a good chunk of time drooling over them online, reading reviews, and watching videos. Technology is just so cool, you know?

So, that was my 2022 with Alpine. It was a mix of updating my servers, tinkering with my car’s audio, geeking out over Formula One, and window-shopping the latest tech. Not too shabby, huh?
