Unlock Sinnoh Raid Challenge Rewards: Step-by-Step Guide.

Okay, so yesterday I decided to dive into the Sinnoh Raid Challenge in Pokémon GO. Let’s walk through how it went, what I did, and what rewards I ended up with.

First off, I made sure I had enough Raid Passes. I stocked up a bit beforehand, just in case I got on a roll and wanted to hit a bunch of raids in a row. It’s always a bummer to get into the groove and then have to stop to buy more passes.

Then, I started looking around for raids. I used the in-game raid map, but I also keep an eye on local chat groups. Sometimes people will call out raids that are about to start, which is super helpful, especially if it’s for a Pokémon you’re really after. You know, gotta coordinate to take down those tougher, higher-tier bosses!

Getting Into the Raids

The Sinnoh Challenge specifically focuses on, you guessed it, Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. So, I was keeping an eye out for things like Cranidos, Shieldon, and even the legendary ones like Cresselia and Giratina. I noticed a pattern the challenge was very diverse.

I made sure to join raids with enough people. I’ve been burned before trying to solo a raid that was just too tough. If you want to be safe, just check the lobby and see how many trainers have joined before committing your pass. If you see other players inside the raid, it means that you could win that challange.

  • First raid, I jumped into a Cranidos raid. Pretty straightforward, not too tough.
  • Next, I saw a Shieldon raid pop up, so I joined that one too. Easy.
  • Then things are start to be harder, got lucky and found a group tackling a Cresselia raid. That one took some coordination, but we managed to take it down with a few seconds to spare!

The Rewards

After each raid, you of course get the usual rewards – you know, some Potions, Revives, maybe some Rare Candy if you’re lucky. But the main thing I was after was the encounter with the Pokémon itself.

I caught the Cranidos and the Shieldon with no problem. Pretty standard throws, a few Great Balls did the trick. The Cresselia, though, that was a different story. Took me almost all my Premier Balls, but I finally snagged it with a Golden Razz Berry and a nicely curved Excellent throw. Super satisfying!

Beside that the specific rewards for completing the Sinnoh Raid Challenge, which was part of a larger event, were pretty sweet. I finished all the raid-related tasks, and I ended up with:

  • An encounter with a special Pokémon.
  • Some Stardust.
  • And some XP.

I really recommend going to the challange, if there are some in the future. Overall, it was a fun day of raiding. Got some good Pokémon, completed the challenge, and earned some decent rewards. Can’t complain!
