Well, let me tell you, that UFC 208, it was a real hootenanny! You wanna know when that thing started? I remember it like it was yesterday, even though my memory ain’t what it used to be.

UFC 208 Start Time
That UFC 208, it was back in, let me think, February. Yeah, February 11th. A Saturday, it was. And you know, they got different start times, depending on where you’re watchin’ from, I reckon. Like them fancy folks with their different time zones. They had it over in, where was it now, Brooklyn, New York, they did.
UFC 208 Card Time
Now, they had what they call these “prelims,” like the warm-up, you see. That started earlier. Then they had the big show, the main event. Like when we used to have the pie-eating contest at the county fair. First, you get the little kids, then you get the grown-ups.
- Prelims, them were first.
- Then the big show, later on.
The prelims for UFC 208 started around 7 PM Eastern Time. But, if you was out west you have to substract 3 hours, making it 4 PM. That’s when the first fighters got in that there octagon. They had it on that UFC Fight Pass thing, on the internet. Like a picture show, but on your computer. These young folks and their technology!
After that, around 8 PM Eastern Time, the prelims moved to a different channel, FS1. More fight for everyone! It is like changing the TV channel. We did that a lot back in the day before we got cable.
UFC 208 Main Card Time
Then came the main event, the real deal. That started at 10 PM Eastern Time. So, you had to stay up late if you wanted to see the whole shebang. We used to stay up late for barn dances, but this was different. This was fighting!

If you are in Pacific Time, the main card for UFC 208 started at 7 PM. You know, those on the West Coast always get things a bit earlier, just like their sunsets.
UFC 208, Where Was It?
They had this whole thing over at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. Big place, I hear. Lots of folks, all yelling and screaming. Must’ve been something to see. Back in my day, we had the fights down at the tavern on a Saturday night. Not quite the same, but just as rowdy.
UFC 208, When Was It?
Like I said, it was February 11th, a Saturday. Back in 2017. Seems like a lifetime ago. Time sure does fly when you’re getting old. But I remember that UFC 208. It was a big deal. Everyone was talking about it.
Some folks, they watched it on that pay-per-view thing. You had to pay extra to see it. Like ordering a special dish at the diner. We just listened to it on the radio. It was good enough for us.
UFC Fight Night 208
Now there was also something called UFC Fight Night 208. Don’t get them confused. That was in London. They start those at different time too, like 6 PM. It’s all so confusing these days.

UFC 208, What a Night!
Anyway, that UFC 208, it was a big night of fights. Lots of excitement. I remember my grandson, he was all excited about it. He kept going on and on about some fighter, can’t remember the name now. But it was a big deal to him.
So, if you’re wondering when UFC 208 started, it all depended on where you were watching and what part you wanted to see. But the main event, that was 10 PM Eastern Time, 7 PM Pacific Time. And it was a Saturday night, February 11th, 2017, in Brooklyn. Don’t you forget it!
These young folks today, they got it easy with their internet and their fancy TVs. We used to have to walk uphill both ways in the snow just to get to a place where we could hear about the fights. But you know what? It was just as exciting. Maybe even more so. Because we had to use our imaginations. And that’s something special.
