The Packers and Bears game today! What channel is the game on?

Hey folks, it’s your boy back again with another “how-to” guide, straight from the trenches of my own tech adventures. So, last weekend, I found myself itching to catch the Packers and Bears game. I mean, who doesn’t love a good ol’ NFL showdown, right? But here’s the kicker – I’m a cord-cutter, so figuring out where to watch it was my first hurdle.

Figuring Out the Channel

First things first, I needed to find out what channel the game was even on. A quick Google search, and bam, the answer was right there – FOX. Okay, easy enough, but remember, I don’t have cable. So, what’s a guy to do?

Exploring Streaming Options

Next up, I started looking into streaming services that carry FOX. I remembered hearing something about FuboTV and Hulu having live sports, so I decided to check those out. Turns out, they both offer free trials for new users. Score! But there was more, the game also seemed to be available on something called NFL Sunday Ticket by YouTube, which was news to me.

Weighing My Choices

Now, I had options. I could go with the FuboTV free trial, check out Hulu, or dive into this NFL Sunday Ticket thing. I wasn’t really about spending money without knowing what I was getting into, so the free trials were looking pretty good.

  • FuboTV: Free trial, had FOX, seemed straightforward.
  • Hulu: Also a free trial, carried FOX, and I’d heard good things.
  • NFL Sunday Ticket: This was a bit of a wild card, but it was through YouTube, which I use all the time anyway.

Making the Decision and Watching the Game

After a bit of back and forth, I decided to give FuboTV a shot. The setup was a breeze – signed up for the free trial, found FOX, and just like that, I was ready for kickoff. The game was awesome, by the way. Totally worth the little bit of research beforehand.

My Takeaway

So, what did I learn from this little adventure? Well, first off, finding out where to watch live sports without cable isn’t as hard as it seems. There are plenty of options out there, and these free trials are a great way to test the waters without commitment. Plus, it’s always good to know about things like NFL Sunday Ticket for future reference. Turns out, keeping up with your favorite teams in the digital age is pretty doable, you just gotta know where to look.
