Alright, folks, let’s talk about this “Thunder Cage” thing in The First Descendant. I’ve been messing around with it, and I gotta say, it’s pretty damn good. I used it for days and killed a lot of enemies with it.
First off, you get this bad boy for free. Yeah, you heard that right, FREE. Just keep an eye out for that descendant instructor dude in Albion. When you see his icon light up, go talk to him. It’s that simple. And I got it without any trouble.
Now, to really make this gun shine, you gotta progress through the story. The better gear you get, the stronger this thing becomes. Trust me, gear matters way more than your level when it comes to power in this game. You can get stronger gears when you are at a high level. It’s better for you to level up first.
Here’s a little trick I found: I paired the Thunder Cage with Rifle Reinforcement, Action, and Reaction. Why? Because it gives it a huge damage boost. I did a lot of tests with these mods, and it really works. Seriously, it’s like night and day. This makes up for that “Edging Shot” thing that kinda lowers the damage.
My Setup
- Weapon: Thunder Cage (obviously)
- Mods: Rifle Reinforcement, Action, and Reaction
With this setup, I’ve been clearing both early and late-game stuff without breaking a sweat. It’s like mowing through butter. You can try this when you got the weapon and mods.
So, if you’re playing The First Descendant, do yourself a favor and get the Thunder Cage. And don’t forget to try out the mods I mentioned. You can thank me later. It is not hard to get these and I really recommend this.
