The complete guide to the la dodgers parade route 2024!

Okay, so, the Dodgers finally did it! They won the 2024 World Series, and you know what that means – parade time in LA! I had to be there, no question. I started by checking online for any info about when and where this whole thing would go down.

First thing I saw was that this was going to be on Friday, November 1st. Good, a weekday, maybe fewer people, you know? Then I saw it started at 11:00 am, which was perfect. Not too early, not too late. Next, I needed to figure out the parade route. That’s when I found out it kicked off near Gloria. Also, I learned there wouldn’t be any tickets involved. It was a free event, just show up and enjoy.

Now, I had to figure out how to get there. I didn’t want to deal with parking downtown, no way. Public transportation it was. I mapped out my route using the metro, looked pretty straightforward. I made sure to leave my place way earlier than I needed to, around 9:00 am, just to beat the crowds. I was figuring there might be around 100,000 people there. That is a lot, but not as bad as some events in LA. I packed a backpack with water, some snacks, a hat, and my Dodgers jersey, of course.

  • Left home around 9:00 am
  • Took the metro to avoid parking hassles
  • Packed essentials: water, snacks, hat, Dodgers jersey

When I got downtown, man, was it already packed! The energy was electric, everyone was pumped. I found a spot along the route, not too far from where it started. I ended up chatting with some other fans while we waited. Turns out, there were even more people than I expected. I heard later that the police estimated the crowd to be around 150,000! Crazy!

Finally, the parade started. The players were on these big floats, waving to everyone, holding up the trophy. Music was blasting, people were cheering, it was a total party. I managed to snap some photos and videos. Seeing the team celebrate like that, it made all the hassle of getting there totally worth it.

The Aftermath

After the parade, I was pretty beat but also super hyped. I decided to skip the event at Dodger Stadium – I heard it was going to be televised, so I figured I could catch it later. Plus, I was hungry. I grabbed some food from a street vendor and headed back home on the metro, which was, as expected, packed with fellow tired but happy Dodgers fans.

Overall, it was an awesome experience. A bit chaotic, yes, but that’s part of the fun. Celebrating with so many other fans, seeing the team up close, it’s something I won’t forget. Go Dodgers!
