Hey everyone, today I want to talk about my recent deep dive into figuring out this Steve Fisk guy. I kept seeing the name pop up, especially when I was looking into bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden, so I figured it was time to see what he was all about.

First off, I started with some good old-fashioned searching. It turns out Steve Fisk is a musician from Washington, but he’s more known for being a producer. That’s why his name is tied to those big bands. It wasn’t much, but it was a start.
Then I stumbled upon a video guide, “ThatBlastedSalami” I think it was called, that was all about how to get started with Steve’s stuff. It was super detailed and looked really polished. I guess it was originally made a while ago, but it still held up pretty well.
But here’s the thing, I got distracted. I don’t know if it was mentioned in the video or somewhere else, but someone mentioned golf courses. And then it was like, “Yeah, I love the greens.” Next thing I know, I’m reading about Steven Fisk heading to the PGA TOUR for the 2025 season. Turns out, there’s a golfer with the same name. Who knew?
Anyway, back to the music. I figured I needed a quick way to get into his music, so I started looking up his discography. Found some top tracks and albums, and just started listening. It’s pretty cool stuff, definitely got that classic sound.
While I was digging around, I found some advice for newbies getting into Steve’s work. It basically said to forget about complex stuff for now. No need to worry about high execution combos or mashing all the 12’s. Don’t even bother with B2 and the related combos. Just focus on the basics and build from there. Sounded like good advice to me.

My First Attempt at a Steve Fisk Guide
So, after all this, I decided to try my hand at making a how-to guide. I did some research to figure out what people were actually struggling with. Turns out, there were a lot of common questions about his work. Armed with this info, I started putting together a guide that would address those specific concerns.
- Step 1: Do some basic research. Figure out who Steve Fisk is and what he’s known for.
- Step 2: Watch that “ThatBlastedSalami” video guide. It’s a great starting point.
- Step 3: Explore his discography. Listen to some of his top tracks and albums to get a feel for his style.
- Step 4: Don’t get bogged down in the complex stuff at first. Focus on the basics and build your way up.
- Step 5: Maybe don’t get sidetracked by golf. Unless you’re into that.
I even found a video that was a good example of a how-to guide, which gave me some ideas for formatting and presenting the information. I wanted to make sure my guide was easy to follow and actually helped people.
It was a bit of a wild ride, going from music producer to golf pro, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes. I had fun learning about Steve Fisk, both the musician and the golfer. And hopefully, my little guide will help some other folks get started on their own Steve Fisk journey.
