Alright, so let me tell you about this crazy thing I tried out the other day. I heard about this movie called “The Small Body Big Crisis” where people turn into these things called Bangboos. Yeah, I know, sounds weird, right? But I thought, why not give it a shot and see what this whole Bangboo thing is about. And guess what? Bangboo are these kinda smart little devices from a place called New Eridu. They were made to help folks there when there’s some kind of disaster, called Hollow disasters, whatever those are.
So, I got myself ready to watch this movie. I didn’t really know what to expect. I mean, people turning into robot-like things? It’s not your everyday movie plot. Anyway, I found a way to watch it. Don’t ask me how, it’s a long story and probably not that interesting. The point is, I got to see it.
I started watching, and man, it was a trip. The movie is all comedy, which was a relief, ’cause I wasn’t in the mood for anything too serious. These characters in the movie, they actually start transforming into Bangboos. And it’s as bizarre as it sounds. They’ve got these big heads and small bodies, and they’re kinda cute but also really weird. Like, imagine your neighbor suddenly looking like a walking, talking bobblehead. That’s basically it.
As I watched, I started thinking about how I could use this whole Bangboo thing. I remembered reading somewhere that someone wanted to use the idea of “turning into Bangboo” to kinda scare their kids into behaving. Smart, right? So I thought, maybe I could try that too. I don’t have kids, but I have some little cousins who are a handful. I figured, next time they’re over and acting up, I’ll just casually mention that misbehaving might turn them into Bangboos. Worth a try, huh?

Nothing as crazy as actually seeing people turn into them, like in the movie.

Well, I’ve got a new fun fact to share with people, and a potential way to keep my little cousins in line. Plus, I learned a bunch about this fictional world and its weird robotic helpers. All in all, I’d say it was a pretty successful experiment. I mean, how many people can say they spent their day diving deep into the world of Bangboos? It’s definitely a story I’ll be telling for a while. And who knows, maybe I’ll even try to make my own Bangboo costume for Halloween or something. Now that would be a sight, wouldn’t it?
