Today, I’m gonna talk about my experience with the Odyssey White Hot Putter. I’ve been using it for a while now, and I thought it’s time to share my thoughts.

So, I started looking for a new putter a few months back. My old one just wasn’t cutting it anymore, you know? I heard some good things about the Odyssey White Hot, especially about how it’s got this extra weight thing going on, supposed to make your rolls smoother and more forgiving. Sounds good, right? That’s what I thought too.
I went ahead and got myself one, the Odyssey White Hot OG #1 CH Putter, to be exact. I figured it’s a decent upgrade for an average golfer like me. First thing I noticed when I picked it up was the grip. It just felt right in my hands, you know, really comfortable. And the face of the putter, it’s designed in a way that you can really feel the ball when you hit it. It’s hard to explain, but it just gives you a better sense of connection.
- Practicing with it, I started noticing a difference, especially on those shorter putts. I felt more consistent, like I had more control over where the ball was going. That’s a big deal for me because those short ones can really make or break your score.
Another thing I read about was the “high MOI” or Moment of Inertia. Now, I’m no physics expert, but basically, it means the putter is more stable and less likely to twist when you hit the ball. And yeah, I think I can feel that. Even when I don’t hit the ball perfectly, it still goes pretty straight.
The Good Stuff
- It’s got a great feel. The grip is comfortable, and you can really feel the ball off the face.
- It’s helped me sink more of those tricky short putts.
- It’s forgiving. Even my off-center hits seem to go where I want them to.
All in all, I’m pretty happy with my Odyssey White Hot Putter. It’s made a noticeable difference in my game, and I feel a lot more confident on the greens now. If you’re thinking about upgrading your putter, I’d say give this one a try. You might just be surprised at how much it can improve your game.
