Okay, so, today I wanted to look into the Mizzou baseball record. I’ve been meaning to get into it, and today seemed like as good a day as any.

First off, I just typed “Mizzou baseball record” into my search bar. It pulled up a bunch of stuff, mostly about the University of Missouri Tigers. I mean, that’s the team I was after, so it was a good start.
I started scrolling through the results. One of the first things I saw mentioned that Missouri has snagged 15 conference titles and 5 division titles. Not too shabby! Then it said that entering the 2024 season, their all-time record is 711–590–5 since 2012. That’s a winning record, alright, a .545 to be exact.
- Checked the 2024 stats: I found a page with the official 2024 stats. I clicked on that and started looking at the different players and their performance. I didn’t dig too deep, but I skimmed through it.
- Found the 2023 stats: There was another page with the 2023 stats, so I did the same thing. I took a quick look to compare and see how the team did last year.
- Looked at the 2023 season: Then I found some information about the 2023 season in general. They played their home games at Taylor Stadium, that’s something.
I also saw a page with their 2023 schedule, complete with scores and everything. And, there was a whole website dedicated to college baseball, D1Baseball, and it had a section on Missouri. Cool to see they’re getting that kind of coverage.
One part talked about some history. It mentioned something about a “Big 8” record of 18 wins, 13 losses, and 5 ties. Not sure what year that was, but it was interesting. It also listed a place called Simmons Field, which I assume is a stadium they’ve played at before.
Oh, and I read a little snippet about how they won nine of their ten SEC games at home last season, and they had a 19-7 home record overall. Sounds like they’re pretty strong at home!

So, yeah, that’s basically what I did today. I just wanted to get a better idea of the Mizzou baseball team’s performance and history. It was pretty interesting to read through all of that. I might look into it more another time, but for now, I think I’ve got a decent overview. I just searched, read, and took notes about this thing. I am happy that I finally got some information about this team!
