Okay, so I wanted to figure out which players have played for BOTH Liverpool and PSG. Seems like a fun bit of football trivia, right? Here’s how I went about it:
My Little Investigation
First, I fired up my browser. I didn’t really have a solid plan, just started with a simple search.
My initial thought was to just look at lists of players for each team separately. I mean, how many could there really be? So I started by searching something basic.
I quickly realized that manually checking every player on every list ever was going to take FOREVER. Both clubs have had tons of players over the years. There had to be a better way!
Then, I thought, “Someone else must have done this already!” Why reinvent the wheel, eh? So I tried to find a more specific search term.
Bingo! I found some articles and forum posts that specifically talked about players who had played for both clubs. Much easier than my original plan!
I skimmed through a few of these, jotting down the names that popped up. I made sure to double-check across a couple of different sources, just to be sure.

After my little deep dive, here’s the list I compiled:
- Nicolas Anelka
- Mamadou Sakho
- Milan Baroš.
- Georginio Wijnaldum.
