Okay, so I was messing around in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom the other day, trying to complete all the shrine quests. I stumbled upon this one called the “Lake Hylia Crystal” and thought, “Alright, let’s do this.” Turns out, it wasn’t as straightforward as I initially thought!

First, I had to find this thing called the En-oma Shrine. That took me a while, but I did find it, it is related to the crystal somehow. Then, I looked around the area a bit. And I found a whirlpool, it is at a place called the East Gerudo Ruins. This whirlpool was the key, I guess.
I did some searching, watched a quick walkthrough video, just to get an idea of what I was supposed to do. I hate using guides, but sometimes you just get stuck, you know?
The video showed me that I had to activate this whirlpool somehow. I messed around for a good while, trying different things. I tried throwing stuff into the whirlpool, even jumped in myself a few times! Nothing.
Turns out, the trick was something I totally didn’t expect. I discovered I have to do something in a certain order, then the crystal would show up in the sky. When you got the crystal, carry it and take it to the location I mentioned before, that shrine or something, then you did it.
It was a bit of a pain to figure out, I admit. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Figuring out these puzzles on your own. Or, well, with a little help from a walkthrough video. Don’t judge me!

So yeah, that’s how I tackled the Lake Hylia Crystal shrine quest. Took me a while, but I got it done. Now, onto the next shrine!
