Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into the Knicks’ draft capital lately, trying to figure out what kind of moves they might make in the future. It’s kinda like putting together a puzzle, and I wanted to share my process and what I’ve found.
First, I started by just gathering all the information I could. What picks do the Knicks actually own? Are there any protections on those picks? It’s all over the place, so I needed to organize it.
My Process
- Step 1: The Hunt. I spent about an hour hunting down sources, news, anything I could find about traded or future draft picks.
- Step 2: Making Sense. After I found all the info I spent a good two hours organizing all this, figuring out which picks were in which years, and what the conditions were.
- Step 3: Putting it all together. After this process, I organized all the info into a simple table to see all the future picks by year.
- Step 4: Speculation Time. Now for the fun part. After all this, I just thought of the possibilities. What could the Knicks realistically do with all this? What are the big “what ifs”?
It took many hours, but I finally felt like I had a good grasp on the situation. This is how I went about tracking and understanding it all.
