So, the other day I was messing around, trying to see how dominant Kevin Durant was during his time with the Warriors. I mean, we all know he was amazing, but I wanted to really dig into it.

Finding the Stats
First, I started by gathering all of Durant’s regular-season and playoff stats from his three seasons with Golden State. You know, points, rebounds, assists, all that good stuff. Just the raw numbers to get a basic picture.
Crunching the Numbers
Then, I spent some time really looking at the data. Here is some of what I looked at:
- Scoring Prowess: I calculated his points per game, field goal percentage, three-point percentage, and free-throw percentage. I was trying to get a sense of his efficiency.
- Overall Impact: I checked out his rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. These are the important to look at.
- Playoff Performance: I separated his regular-season stats from his playoff stats. You know, to see if he really turned it up in the postseason.
What I Learned
After all that, what did I figure out? Well, the numbers confirmed what my eyes already saw: Durant was a freaking monster on the Warriors. Seriously, his scoring efficiency was off the charts, and he was consistent as hell.
And, the playoffs? Yep, he leveled up. His scoring went up, and he was clutch in big moments. I guess you can see why they won those championships.
It was a fun little dive into some basketball history. It confirmed that Kevin Durant in Golden State was must-see TV.
