Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole Iowa Speedway thing for 2025, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I wanted to get the full scoop, you know, the whole schedule, what to expect, all that jazz. Started poking around online, trying to piece it all together.
First off, I noticed the 2025 schedule was dropped back on August 29, 2024. Seems like they’ve got a packed lineup – 30 oval races, 5 road course ones, a single street track race, and 4 non-championship races, also on ovals. Busy, busy!
Then, I wanted to know about the track itself. Turns out, as of 2023, it can hold around 30,000 people. Not too shabby. It’s not just one track either. They’ve got seven different road course layouts. One of them is this cool 1.300 mi (2.092 km) thing that mixes the main track with the infield. They call it a “roval.” Sounds fancy, right?
Next up, I figured I should check out the rules and regs. You can bring in two bags, but they gotta be smaller than 18″x18″x14″. Backpacks, diaper bags, those little clutch bags – all good, as long as they fit the size. And for coolers, soft-sided only, and no bigger than 14″x14″x14″. Got it.
Event Date
- I saw somewhere that the NASCAR Cup Series is hitting up Iowa Speedway on January 2, 2025. That’s gonna be a big one.
- Also, there is a race on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
