Okay, so a few days ago, I stumbled upon this thing called Fortnite GeoGuessr. It sounded pretty wild, combining my love for Fortnite with some geography guessing game. I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, I’ve spent countless hours on Fortnite, so I should know the map like the back of my hand, right?

So, I started looking into it, and it turns out there are a couple of ways to play. There’s this web browser version, which seems to be pretty popular.
I jumped into the web version. The idea is simple: you get dropped into a random spot on the Fortnite map, and you have to figure out where you are. Sounds easy, right? Well, not quite.
Game Start
First, it asked me to choose the map. Of course, Chapter 5. After that, I was able to start the game!
The first round started, and I was immediately thrown into some random location. I started looking around, trying to spot any landmarks or familiar places. It’s actually harder than it sounds because you’re just relying on your memory of the map.
Round 1
- I recognized a few buildings and some terrain features.
- Used the in-game tools to move around a bit and get a better view.
- Scoured the area for any hints, like road signs or unique structures.
After a few minutes of exploring, I had a hunch about where I might be. I opened up the map, zoomed in, and dropped a pin on my guess. Then, bam! It showed me the actual location and how far off I was. Turns out, I wasn’t too bad! Got a decent score on the first try.

Keep Going
I played a few more rounds, each time getting a bit more familiar with the process. Some locations were super obvious, like right in the middle of a major point of interest. Others were way more obscure, like some random hill in the middle of nowhere.
It’s a really cool way to test your Fortnite knowledge and see how well you really know the map. Plus, it’s a fun little challenge to try and beat your own score or compete with friends.
If you’re a Fortnite fan and you’re looking for something new to try, I definitely recommend checking out Fortnite GeoGuessr. It’s a blast, and it’s a great way to kill some time. Just be prepared to be humbled a bit, because even if you think you know the map well, there’s always a chance you’ll get stumped!
