Feeling Rogish? Explore the fun and the risky side of charm.

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “Rogish,” and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. I started with basically zero clue what I was doing. Just heard the name, sounded cool, figured I’d give it a shot.

Feeling Rogish? Explore the fun and the risky side of charm.

Getting Started (aka Flailing Around)

First, I needed to actually get this Rogish thing. I did some digging, found where to download it, and slammed that install button. You know the drill – next, next, next, agree to terms I didn’t read, boom, done.

Then came the “now what?” moment. I opened it up, and it was just… there. No instructions, no helpful hints, just a blank canvas staring back at me. I poked around a bit, clicked on some menus, and mostly just confused myself.

Figuring Things Out (aka Accidental Success)

After a solid hour of clicking randomly, I started to get a tiny feel for it. I figured out how to create a new project, which felt like a HUGE win. Then I discovered how to add some, uh, “elements”? I’m still not 100% sure what they’re called, but they looked important.

I started dragging and dropping these elements, connecting them with lines, and basically just throwing stuff at the wall to see what stuck. Honestly, most of it didn’t. But slowly, very slowly, I started to see some patterns. Like, “Oh, if I connect this to that, it does this.” Progress!

Building Something (Sort Of)

Emboldened by my (very limited) success, I decided to try building something real. I had this vague idea in my head, and I just started building it, piece by piece. It was messy, it was ugly, but it was something. I spent hours tweaking, adjusting, and cursing at my screen.

  • Frist,I drag the “Start Point”.
  • Next, I connect the “core element” with some lines.
  • Adjust these lines so they don’t look like a total mess.
  • I kept repeating this process, adding and connecting more stuff.

There were times I almost gave up. Times I thought, “This is too hard, I’m not smart enough for this.” But I kept pushing, kept experimenting, and eventually, I had something that… well, it worked. It didn’t look pretty, and it probably wasn’t the “right” way to do it, but it functioned. I was (and still am) ridiculously proud of that.

Still Learning (aka The Journey Continues)

So, that’s where I’m at with Rogish. I’ve gone from knowing absolutely nothing to building something (barely) functional. I’ve learned a lot, but I still have a ton more to learn. It’s been frustrating, challenging, and surprisingly rewarding. I’m definitely going to keep messing around with it, and who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually be good at it.

The whole process was like assembling IKEA furniture without the instructions, but way more complicated. But hey, I built a chair(it’s still work!), and that’s something, right?
