Oh boy, that f1 manhole cover video. My goodness, that sure was somethin’. You seen that thing? That race car, zoomin’ around. Then, bam! Hits that darn cover.
They call it a manhole cover. Big ol’ thing, made of metal, I reckon. S’posed to cover up them holes in the road. Keep folks from fallin’ in, ya know? But that one there, it weren’t doin’ its job, no sir. It flew right up. It broke that car and they had to stop the race. Good thing no one got hurt. That’s most important, ya know? That f1 manhole cover video is all over the place now.
These fancy cars, they go so fast. They say it’s the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Big race, lots of folks watchin’. But that cover, it just popped right off. That Ferrari car. That Carlos’s car hit the cover. That car got all messed up. Poor fella, that Carlos Sainz. That manhole cover broke his car. They spent all that money on that car and it broke! That’s just awful. What a waste of money.
They said the practice was on Thursday. Barely got started, maybe eight or nine minutes, and then whammo! That manhole cover went flyin’. They called it a “drain cover”, too. Whatever that means. Big metal thing, anyway. Stopped the whole darn thing.
Heard someone say they spent a whole heap of money on this race. Five hundred million, they said. That’s a lot of beans, ain’t it? And for what? For a manhole cover to ruin the whole thing? That don’t make no sense to me. They should have checked the covers!
- First, they gotta check them covers.
- Second, they gotta make sure they’re stuck on good.
- Third, they gotta make sure them cars can go fast without things flyin’ off the road!
They was fixin’ them other covers, though. I saw that. Puttin’ stuff on ’em, makin’ ’em heavy. Tryna keep ’em down, I guess. But that one, it got away from ’em. That f1 manhole cover video sure shows it.

This Las Vegas Grand Prix, it’s a big deal, I guess. First time they had it there in a long time. Since the eighties, someone said. Long time ago. But you’d think they’d learn their lesson. Make sure them roads are safe, ya know? Especially when them cars are goin’ that fast. They should check every cover on that road!
That poor Carlos Sainz, though. His car all busted up. They say it was the bottom of the car that got it the worst. The “floor”, they call it. Fancy name for the bottom of a car, huh? But that manhole cover, it sure did a number on it.
Well, I hope they learn somethin’ from this. That f1 manhole cover video is a good lesson, I reckon. Gotta keep them roads safe. Gotta keep them covers down. And gotta make sure them fancy race cars don’t get all busted up. Nobody wants to see that.
This whole thing just goes to show ya, money don’t always buy ya sense. Five hundred million dollars, and they can’t even keep a manhole cover on the road. Lord have mercy. They better do better next time, that’s all I gotta say. This is just embarrassing for everyone, ya know?
They should be thankful that Carlos Sainz wasn’t hurt. That’s the most important thing. Cars can be fixed. People are harder to put back together, you know? That manhole cover could’ve done a lot more damage than it did.

Anyway, I hope they get it all sorted out. This Las Vegas Grand Prix is supposed to be a big thing. Don’t need no more manhole cover incidents ruinin’ it. They need to learn from this. Everyone’s watchin’ that f1 manhole cover video, that’s for sure. They gotta do better than this. This is bad for the sport.
