Okay, here is my sharing about the “East Lake Golf Club Creator Classic” event.
So, I got myself into this thing called the “Creator Classic” at the East Lake Golf Club. You know, it’s not your usual PGA TOUR event. This one’s got those YouTube golf folks – influencers, they call ’em. There were 16 of them, all big names in the online golf world, like the Bryan Bros and Fat Perez. I even saw Roger Steele and Aimee Cho teeing off in the afternoon, which was pretty cool.
I went in not really knowing what to expect. I mean, I’ve watched these guys on YouTube, and they’re good, but it’s different seeing them live. I spent the whole day there, from when the first group teed off until the last putt dropped. I walked the course, got a feel for the place, and watched these internet stars do their thing.
- First Impressions: The vibe was different. It felt more… relaxed? But don’t get me wrong, it was still competitive.
- Watching the Players: These guys are seriously good. I mean, I knew they were good from their videos, but seeing them in person was something else.
- The Course: East Lake is a beast. It’s tough, and watching these guys navigate it was a treat.
I mingled a bit, talked to some of the other spectators, and even got a few words with some of the players. They were all pretty chill, happy to chat, take photos, and all that. It was like being part of a big golf party, but with a tournament going on.
The Aftermath
After it was all over, I felt like I had just witnessed something unique. It wasn’t just another golf tournament; it was something new, something fresh. I spent the evening going through my photos and videos, reliving the day. I even posted some of them online, and people seemed to like them. It was a good day, a really good day. And I have to say, this Creator Classic, it’s got something special. It’s like they’ve mixed the old with the new, and it works. It really works.
