Okay, so, about this Drillers game in 2024, let me tell you, it was a wild ride from start to finish. I’ve been following the Drillers for a while now, and this year, I decided to really dive in.

First, I started digging around for any info I could find. The team’s official website was a good starting point, you know, checking the schedule, scores, and all that jazz. Found out they were gonna be the “Noodlers” for a few games in August against the Wichita Wind Surge – can you believe it? Apparently, it’s a nod to one of the News On 6 anchor’s favorite hobbies, noodling. They even had a special uniform for it. Pretty quirky, right?
Then, I saw something about some of the games being paired with Major League Spring Training games. That sounded interesting, so I marked those dates down. I mean, a doubleheader? Yes, please!
As the season approached, I started following the players more closely. There was this guy, Dalton Rushing, who’d been with Great Lakes, but had some issues with, uh, staying in the game last year. This year he moved up to Tulsa. I kept an eye on him. Seemed like he got injured again, it was a bummer.
- Checked the official Drillers website for schedules and news.
- Noticed the “Noodlers” special games in August.
- Followed player news, especially Dalton Rushing.
- Kept an eye out for doubleheader games with MLB Spring Training.
I also found out the Drillers had set the times for their home games at ONEOK Field. Mostly the same as before, but with a little change. Good to know, especially if you’re planning to catch a game or two.
Oh, and I stumbled upon this list of 20 games someone was hyped about. The Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs on September 5th caught my eye. Not related to the Drillers, but hey, I love a good football game too.

There were some young guys, Martin and Bruns, who are also worth noting, they are great prospects. I decided to pay more attention to them during the game.
So, yeah, that’s how I got ready for the Drillers’ 2024 season. I tried to watch them on *, but honestly, it didn’t work out so well. But I managed to follow along, one way or another. It’s been quite a ride, I gotta say. Lots of ups and downs, but that’s baseball, right?
What a season, folks! Can’t wait to see what they do next year.
