Okay, so I needed to get my hands on some medical records from CoxHealth. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be, but I figured it out. Here’s how the whole thing went down.

First, I started by poking around on the CoxHealth website. I was hoping for a simple “download your records” button, but no such luck. It was a little confusing, to be honest.
Figuring Out the Forms
I dug a little deeper and found a section about requesting medical records. Apparently, you can’t just get them online instantly. I had to fill out an authorization form. There were a couple of options:
- Print the form and fill it out by hand.
- Fill it out online.
I am very lazy to print it, so I decided to try online form.
Submitting the Request
Once I got the form filled out with all my info (name, date of birth, the specific records I needed, etc.), I had to figure out how to actually submit it. the options are:
- Mail:which felt super old-school.
- Fax:It’s so inconvenient.
- In person: I might not in there all the time.
I chose to mail, because it’s the simplest way in three options.

The Waiting Game
After I mailed my request, it was just a waiting game. The website said it could take up to 30 days to process, which felt like forever. Honestly, that was the most frustrating part.
Finally, though, I received my records.
So, yeah, that’s my experience getting medical records from CoxHealth. It wasn’t super smooth, but I got there in the end. Hopefully, this helps someone else out there!
