So, I wanted to save some bucks on printer ink, and I’d heard about Cartridge World. Figured I’d give it a shot, document the whole thing, and share my experience.

First, I looked up the nearest Cartridge World store. Easy enough, just a quick search on their website.
Heading to the Store
Drove over to the store. It wasn’t super fancy or anything, but it was clean and organized. The guy at the counter, he seemed pretty knowledgeable, not just some random dude.
The Refilling Process
- I handed over my empty cartridges – a black one and a color one.
- He took a look at them, made sure they were the kind they could refill.
- Then he explained process and showed me their machines.
- He cleaned the print heads, did some checks.
While he was doing all that, I looked around at the other stuff they had – new cartridges, printers, paper, even some office supplies. Pretty convenient, actually.
The Final Steps
- Once the refilling was done, he tested the cartridges in a printer they had there.
- Everything looked good – the black was sharp, and the colors were vibrant.
- He gave me some tips on how to store the cartridges and get the most out of them.
- And, I paid, much cheaper than buying new ones, and got out of the store.
Back home, I popped the cartridges into my printer, printed a test page – perfect! Honestly, I was pretty impressed. It was way easier than I expected, and it definitely saved me some money. I’ll probably go back there next time I need a refill.
