Best Tracks by DJ Santiago: A Guide for Party People

Alright, so I was messing around with this “DJ Santiago” thing, right? I heard it mentioned a few times, figured it was worth checking out. It turns out to be some kind of music track that a lot of people like. Sounds simple enough. What could go wrong?

First, I tried to get a handle on what makes a good DJ set. There was this thing I came across, mentioning over 2 million song requests through some DJ Event Planner system. That’s a ton of data! So, I started digging into that, thinking it would give me some clues. But, man, it was all over the place.

Then, I figured I’d try to find some of DJ Santiago’s best songs. I mean, if I’m gonna make a mix inspired by this, I gotta know what the guy’s known for, right? I found a bunch of playlists, some old stuff, some new stuff. It was a mixed bag, to say the least. I had no idea where to start.

Next up, I thought about what kind of vibe I wanted. I read somewhere that for house parties, you want something “dancey” but not too crazy. They recommended old RnB, soul, 1st wave ska, and 90’s hip-hop. That sounded kinda cool, so I started putting together a playlist based on that.

  • Tried to get some basic info about DJ Santiago.
  • Spent hours browsing through a bunch of playlists.
  • Found a lot of old-school music, not just his stuff.
  • Made a playlist with some 90’s hip-hop and old-school jams.
  • Realized that I needed more than just music.

But then I realized, being a DJ isn’t just about picking songs. It’s a whole performance thing. I read about how DJs use lights, visuals, and even their own dancing to hype up the crowd. I even tried dancing around my room to get the party started. It was a complete failure, I gotta tell ya. I can’t dance.

In the end, I managed to put together a decent playlist, but my DJ skills are still, let’s just say, a work in progress. I probably won’t be headlining any major festivals anytime soon. But hey, at least I had some fun messing around with it, and I’ve got a new playlist to blast at home.

My DJ Santiago-Inspired Mix:

  • Some cool 90s hip-hop tracks that I really dig.
  • A few classic RnB songs that are pretty chill.
  • A couple of old-school tunes just for fun.

It’s not perfect, but it’s a start. Maybe I’ll keep practicing, who knows? One day I might actually be decent at this whole DJ thing. Or maybe I’ll just stick to making playlists for myself. Either way, it was a fun little experiment.
