Hitting the October 4th Boss in Persona 3 Reload
Alright, so today was the day in Persona 3 Reload. October 4th. Knew something big was coming up, you always feel it in this game. Got my team prepped as best as I could. I decided to roll with Yukari for healing, Akihiko for some debuffs and damage, and Aigis because, well, she’s a tank and hits hard.

Got to the location, the Moonlight Bridge. Big surprise, it’s those Strega guys again, Jin and Takaya. Facing two bosses at once is always a pain. You know the drill, one buffs or does weird stuff while the other just wails on you.
Started the fight trying to figure out who to focus on first. Jin, with his grenades and stuff, seemed like the bigger immediate annoyance. Takaya just stands there looking edgy, but you know he’s gonna pull something nasty later.
So, I had Akihiko try to debuff Jin’s defense right away. Put up Makarakarn with my main character whenever I could predict a big magic hit from Takaya, which he definitely likes to throw out. Yukari was basically on full-time heal duty. This fight really drains your SP, constantly patching people up.
Things got messy quick.
- Jin kept using status effects, which is super annoying. Had to burn items to fix confusion and fear.
- Takaya started busting out his Almighty attacks. Those hurt everyone, no getting around it.
- Aigis actually went down once. Had to use a revival item fast before Takaya decided to finish her off.
I stuck with focusing Jin down first. Used my strongest physical attacks on him, trying to exploit any weakness I could find, though they cover themselves pretty well. It felt like chipping away at a rock. He finally went down after what felt like forever. Felt a huge relief then.

With Jin out, Takaya wasn’t that much harder, but you still gotta respect his damage output. He started charging up some big moves. I just poured everything into offense at this point. Used my best Persona skills, Akihiko kept punching, Aigis was back up and laying down fire. Yukari kept topping everyone off.
He eventually dropped. Didn’t get any super rare item or anything, just the satisfaction of beating those two again. It was a tough fight, definitely drained my resources. Glad it’s over. Onto the next thing the game throws at me, I guess.
