Belmont Race 8 How to Watch Live Stream and TV Schedule

Okay, so I’ve got a story for you guys about the Belmont Race 8 that happened today. I was all set to watch it because, you know, it’s the Belmont Stakes and it’s kind of a big deal. I didn’t really know much about how to watch these things, so first thing I did was a quick search online. Figured I’d find out where it was playing.

Turns out, it’s on FOX. Yeah, just regular old FOX channel. Also found out that if you have a phone, you can use the FOX Sports app, too. And it was happening at the Saratoga Race Course. Cool, cool. Not that I can actually go there, but it is good to know. Anyway, I made sure to mark down the date: Saturday, June 8th. Gotta know when to tune in, right?

So, I dug a bit deeper because I wanted to see if there were any other ways to watch. I mean, what if my TV decided to stop working or something? Always good to have a backup plan. I found this thing called “Racing America 24/7”. Apparently, it’s some kind of free streaming channel and it’s on a bunch of different streaming services, which is pretty handy. There’s also “Racing TV” but that seemed a bit more complicated, like you have to register and stuff, or maybe even pay, who knows? I did not do much research on that.

Then there was something about ESPN. But when I checked their website, it was just a schedule, not a live stream. Not very helpful in the moment. Oh, and I learned a new term! They call the start time of the race “post time”. So, like, if it says “Race number three’s post time is 8:15”, that means the race starts at 8:15. Who knew, right?

Anyway, back to the race. I ended up just watching it on FOX because that was the easiest option. Turned on the TV, found the channel, and boom, there it was. No need to download apps, no need to pay extra money, just good old-fashioned TV. I grabbed some snacks, settled on the couch, and watched the whole thing. It was pretty exciting! Lots of horses running really fast, people cheering, the whole nine yards. I didn’t bet any money or anything, but it was still fun to watch.

So yeah, that’s my Belmont Race 8 story. I searched for how to watch it, found out it was on FOX, checked a few other options, learned about “post time”, and ultimately just watched it on regular TV. Not the most exciting adventure, but hey, I enjoyed it. Maybe next year I’ll actually go to the race in person. Who knows!

Takeaways

Watching horse races is easier than I thought. FOX is the go-to channel for the Belmont Stakes. There are other streaming options out there if you’re into that. And “post time” is a fancy way of saying “race start time”.
