So, I bumped into this “jorge avendano” thing online, and I was like, “What’s this all about?” Curiosity got the best of me, you know? So I decided to dive in and see what I could make of it.
First, I just did a simple search, just to get a feel for it. I saw a bunch of stuff – some GitHub repos, a few articles, maybe a LinkedIn profile or something. It seemed like this Jorge guy was into coding, specifically with some kind of data stuff.
I’m no expert, but I like to tinker. I figured, “Why not try to recreate some of this stuff?” I started by looking at the GitHub repos I found. I noticed some of it was about,like, machine learning or data analysis I believe. I picked one that looked, uh, manageable – not too crazy complicated. You know how you learn new things on the fly when working on side projects, right? I love it!
I copied the code, just to get a starting point. I’m not proud of it, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?
My Messy Process
- Step 1: Panic. Seriously, I looked at the code and thought, “What did I get myself into?”
- Step 2: Google like crazy. I didn’t understand half the terms used, so I spent a good chunk of time just searching for explanations. I typed this, typed that, and finally understood what it meant.
- Step 3: Try and fail. I tried to run the code. Surprise, surprise – it didn’t work. Error messages everywhere!
- Step 4: More Googling. I went back to the search engine, trying to figure out what those error messages even meant.
- Step 5: Tiny victories. I slowly started to fix things. I changed this line of code here, added that thing there, and eventually… it started to work! Kind of.
- Step 6: Realization. It became clear that I need to practice this more to really become proficient, but I still felt very happy with what I learned.
It was a total mess, to be honest. I spent hours on it, and I’m pretty sure the code I ended up with was nowhere near as clean or efficient as the original. But you know what? I learned something. I got a little taste of what this “jorge avendano” stuff was all about, and I felt pretty good about that.
I’m not gonna lie, it was frustrating at times. There were moments when I wanted to just give up. But I kept pushing, and it was worth it. Even if I didn’t create anything amazing, I expanded my knowledge a little bit, and that’s always a win in my book.
So, that’s my jorge avendano adventure. It was messy, it was challenging, but it was definitely a learning experience. Maybe I’ll try another one of his projects sometime, who knows? But for now, I’m gonna take a break and maybe watch some cat videos. Because balance, right?
