Hey guys, it’s been a while! Today, I wanna talk about something that really got me hooked recently – it’s about this young Japanese motorcycle racer named Ai Ogura. Man, this guy is something else.

So, I started digging into this whole MotoGP thing a few weeks ago. Don’t ask me why, I just stumbled upon some race highlights and got sucked in. I noticed this name, Ai Ogura, popping up a lot. I mean, the kid’s just 23, born in 2001, and he’s already making waves. That’s what I found, anyway.
First off, I went on a hunt to find out who this guy is. Turns out, he’s this rising star in the Moto2 World Championship. 2024 Champ, that is, he won with MT Helmets – MSi. I read that he’s gonna be racing in MotoGP for Trackhouse Racing in 2025. This is big news, right?
I started following his journey from way back. This dude began racing in something called the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup in 2015. Can you believe it? He was just a teenager back then! I even found some old articles talking about how his dad got him into motorcycles. Not that unusual, but still, it’s a cool backstory.
Then, I dug deeper into his recent achievements. Winning the Moto2 title? That’s huge! And the way he did it, too. They say it was a tough season, but he pulled through. I guess switching from Dunlop to Pirelli tires might have helped him big time. Also, the news just came out recently that he became the first Japanese rider to take the Moto2 title. That’s just crazy, talk about making history!
- Became the 2024 Moto2 World Champion
- Moving to MotoGP with Trackhouse Racing in 2025
- The first Japanese rider to claim the Moto2 title
This Ai Ogura guy, he’s definitely someone to watch out for. I’m not even a hardcore racing fan, but I’m already excited to see what he does in MotoGP. It’s like watching a star being born, you know? I’m telling you, this kid’s got talent, and I can’t wait to see him take on the big leagues. I predict big things, big things!

Anyway, that’s my little deep dive into Ai Ogura’s world. I just had to share it with you guys. What do you think? Are you as pumped as I am to see him race next year?
