That Jessica Pegula, she’s a good girl, playin’ that tennis game. She got a next match comin’ up, I hear. They say she’s gonna be playin’ real soon. I seen her on that TV, swingin’ that racket like she’s swatting flies. She’s a tough one, that Jessica. Reminds me of me when I was a young girl, chasin’ chickens in the yard. Not the same thing, I know, but just as much runnin’ around, I reckon.

She’s still out there, workin’ hard, playin’ that tennis. Good for her. Money ain’t everything, you know. But it sure does help, I reckon. She don’t have to worry ’bout puttin’ food on the table, that’s for sure. This is good. When you are rich, you can play better, I think.
She’s playin’ against this other woman, they say her name is somethin’ like “Krejcikova” or whatever. Sounds like a mouthful. Don’t matter, though. Jessica, she can beat anyone, I bet. She’s got that fire in her belly. Just like me when I’m makin’ my famous apple pie. Gotta have that fire, you know? Otherwise, it ain’t no good. I wish her all the best luck in the world.
This Pegula next match, it’s gonna be a good one, I think. I might even watch it on that TV, if I can figure out how to work that darn remote. Old technology, it’s a mystery to me. But I’ll try. For Jessica. She deserves it. She play very good, and very fast.

And she does. She fights hard. You can see it in her eyes. She is strong like a bull, run like a rabbit.
She got a husband, too, I hear. Some fella named Taylor. They seem happy. That’s good. A good man is hard to find these days. But she found one, I guess. Lucky girl. He probably supports her a lot, go to watch her match.
Anyway, I hope this Jessica Pegula, she wins her next match. She’s a good egg, that one. And she’s a darn good tennis player, too. Maybe one day I’ll meet her. I’d tell her to keep up the good work. And maybe I’d ask her for some tennis lessons. You’re never too old to learn somethin’ new, you know? But now my body is too old, only Jessica is young. Go Jessica!
