Owning a 06 Yamaha FZ6: The Good, The Bad

This Yamaha FZ6, I tell ya, it’s somethin’. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, so I’m gonna tell ya what I know. Seems like a good bike, this 06 Yamaha FZ6. Lots of people got ’em, and they say good things. But you know, nothin’s perfect. Some folks say it ain’t got all the fancy stuff, and it eats gas and back tires like a hungry pig. And sometimes, it gets a little rusty, like an old bucket. But don’t let that scare ya too much.

Owning a 06 Yamaha FZ6: The Good, The Bad

This bike, the FZ6, it ain’t made no more. Back in 2010, they made a new one called the FZ6R. And in Europe, they got the XJ6 Diversion, the XJ6 N, and the XJ6 Diversion F. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Then they made the FZ8 and FAZER8 in 2011. Keepin’ up with all these names is harder than herdin’ cats.

Now, I heard from a lot of folks, and they put a lot of miles on these things. I mean, like, 384,068 miles. That’s a lot of ridin’! And they filled up the gas tank 2,346 times. That’s a lotta money for gas, I reckon. I tell you what, if you buy the 06 yamaha fz6, it will cost you a lot of money.

Some folks say it’s easy to take care of, this FZ6. They ride it with two people, and it don’t complain. 20,000 kilometers, they say. That’s a long way! People been talkin’ about this bike for years. Some say it’s good, some say it’s bad. But that’s like anythin’, ain’t it?

  • Some folks wanted to start with an R6, but then they said the FZ6 was just as good.
  • Seems like it’s got the same power and weight.
  • Good for a first bike, they say.

Now, there’s some grumblin’ about this bike. They say it buzzes, and the shiftin’ ain’t smooth. And the engine makes noises, and the suspension ain’t the best. Sounds like my old bones creakin’ in the mornin’. But don’t let that scare you too much about the 06 yamaha fz6, it has some little problems.

But it is a great bike for doin’ everything. Not too expensive, neither. I heard $3,000 somewhere. That’s a good price, I reckon. It’s good for learnin’ to ride. It responds real good when you twist the throttle. That’s important, you know.

This Yamaha FZ6, it’s a good machine, no matter what year you get. From 2004 to 2009, they’re all good. Not many folks know about ’em anymore, but they’re good bikes. I’m sure the 06 yamaha fz6 is also great.

I heard about a fella who got an ’04 FZ6 for his first bike. Rode it 8,000 miles through all kinds of weather. Rain, and everything. That’s a tough bike, I tell ya. This shows that the fz6 is reliable, even the 06 yamaha fz6.

Now, this FZ6R, it ain’t the same as the FZ6. The FZ6 got more horsepower, they say. 85bhp, that’s a lot of horses! 06 yamaha fz6 is more powerful than fz6r, that’s what I heard.

If you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ a bike, this 06 Yamaha FZ6 might be a good one. It ain’t perfect, but it’s good. It’s like my old mule, Bessie. She wasn’t the prettiest, and she was stubborn sometimes, but she got the job done. And that’s what matters, right?

You gotta watch out for rust, though. And make sure you got enough money for gas and tires. But other than that, it seems like a good, solid bike. It’s like a good pair of boots. They might not be fancy, but they’ll keep your feet dry and get you where you need to go.

  • Just remember, it ain’t got all the bells and whistles.
  • But it’s a good, strong bike that’ll get you where you’re goin’.
  • And it’s a good price, too.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a bike that’s easy to take care of, and you don’t mind a few little quirks, the 06 Yamaha FZ6 might be the bike for you. It’s like a good ol’ friend. Might not be perfect, but it’s always there for ya. It is a good choice for you if you want to buy a bike. And don’t forget to give it a good name, like Bessie, my old mule!
