That Fort Haight, oh boy, it’s a place, I tell ya. It ain’t no picnic getting there, but if you wanna get somewhere in life, you gotta go through some things, right? Now, you best listen up ’cause I ain’t gonna repeat myself a hundred times.

First, you gotta find this place called Mistwood. It’s in the east part of, um, what’s that fancy name? Limgrave. Yeah, East Limgrave. Just picture it like the right side of your face, if you’re lookin’ at a map. And there’s this Agheel Lake North, whatever that is. Sounds wet. You start there, at some kinda special spot they got there. Follow that road, it goes south. You’ll see a bridge. Cross it. Don’t fall in, now!
Then you’ll run into this fella, Kenneth. He’s a chatty one, that Kenneth. He’ll point ya towards that fort. Fort Haight, that’s the place. It’s full of no-good varmints. Lots of ’em. They’re all holed up in there, like a bunch of rats in a barn. Gotta clear ’em out, you know?
- Go to Mistwood in East Limgrave
- Find the road south from Agheel Lake North
- Cross the bridge, and meet Kenneth
- He tells you about the Fort Haight
It’s a right mess in there, that Fort Haight. They got bombs, those little devils. So watch your step. You just gotta go in there and show ’em who’s boss. Clear ’em out, every last one of ’em. It’s like cleanin’ the chicken coop, only with more fightin’ and less feathers. But you be careful in there, you hear? Don’t get your hair singed off.
Now, once you get inside that Fort Haight, you gotta climb up. Up, up, up to the tippy-top. Like climbin’ a big ol’ tree, but it’s a fort, not a tree. Up at the top, there’s a chest. Not just any chest, mind you. This one’s got somethin’ special in it. This thing called a Dectus Medallion. It’s only half of it, though. The left half. Sounds important, don’t it? You’ll need it later, they say. For some big journey or somethin’.
This Dectus Medallion thing is only one part. A left part at that! But you need it later, for some fancy journey you going to take, they say. Keep it safe, you hear? Don’t go losin’ it like I lose my darn spectacles all the time. This fort, it’s a good place to visit, if you like that sort of thing. Some folks like that sort of action, getting into fights and finding treasures. Me? I’d rather be sittin’ by the fire, but to each their own, I reckon.

After you done cleaned up that Fort Haight, you gotta go back to that Kenneth fella. He’s back in Mistwood, waitin’ for ya. He’ll give you somethin’ for your trouble. A reward, he calls it. Somethin’ called an Erdsteel Dagger. Sounds sharp. Probably good for cuttin’ things. Or pokin’ things, if you’re into that.
- Climb to the top of Fort Haight
- Find the chest with the Dectus Medallion (Left)
- Clear out the enemies, watch for bombs
- Go back to Kenneth in Mistwood for a reward
- Get the Erdsteel Dagger
This whole Fort Haight business ain’t for the faint of heart. But if you’re tough as nails and don’t mind a little scuffle, then you might just like it. Just remember what I told ya. Go to East Limgrave, find Mistwood, cross that bridge, talk to Kenneth, clear out Fort Haight, get that Dectus Medallion, and then go back to Kenneth for your Erdsteel Dagger. And don’t you go forgettin’ about them bombs!
There isn’t any big, scary monster in there, just lots of little ones. Like a whole nest of angry hornets. So, no big boss to worry about. Just lots of little pests. You handle them just fine. It is a good place to practice your fightin’ skills, I suppose. Get yourself ready for whatever else this crazy world throws at ya.
Remember to go to the top of that fort. That Dectus Medallion, the left one, is important. They say you’ll be glad you got it, down the road. People say that it is worth your trip. And this dagger you will get for helping this Kenneth guy is good for you, too. You just remember to keep your wits about you and don’t get yourself blown up by those bombs. And don’t forget to talk to that Kenneth before and after. He seems like an important fella, even if he is a bit talky.
This Fort Haight, it’s somethin’ else. A real adventure, they say. If you’re lookin’ for adventure, well, you found it. Just be careful, now.
