OKC Thunder Warriors Head-to-Head Record: Who Has the Edge in This Rivalry? (Check out the Stats)

You know that OKC Thunder and them Warriors, they been playing ball for a long, long time. I heard on the radio, them Thunder, they won more games against the Warriors. They say 146 to 123, all-time. Sounds like a whole lotta games to me. I ain’t no expert, but that’s what I heard.

They got all these lists, you know, showing all the games they played. Every single one. It’s all about that NBA, whatever that is. Seems important to some folks. It said they played each other many times. They got these things called “tags” too, like on my old clothes. Oklahoma City Thunder, Warriors vs Oklahoma City, National Basketball Association. Just a bunch of words if you ask me.

Now, they got this other thing, a “head-to-head” record. Like two goats butting heads, I reckon. They keep track of who won and who lost the most. Biggest wins, biggest losses. It’s all there in black and white. It seems that the OKC thunder has won more games than the Warriors.

  • One team is called Oklahoma City Thunder.
  • Other one is them Golden State Warriors.
  • They play basketball.
  • They played a lot of games against each other.

They even got a “fan report card.” Like we’re back in school! I guess folks get to grade these teams. I don’t know about all that. I just like watching the ball go in the hoop. Who cares about these grades and scores anyway?

One time, I saw this on the paper, they wrote something about Oklahoma City playing Golden State at 10 o’clock. Then they got all these numbers. “Nov 27: Oklahoma City 105.” I don’t know what those scores mean, but one of them must have won. Seems like a lot of fuss over a game.

They call Oklahoma City, Oklahoma their “location.” And they also got “team names.” Like I said before, one is Oklahoma City Thunder. Fancy name for a bunch of fellas playing ball, if you ask me. Just like my chickens, they all got names too, but they don’t play no basketball.

Oh, and get this, they even keep track of who got the most “20 rebound games.” I don’t know what a rebound is, but it sounds tiring. Again, they say the Thunder got more than the Warriors, 145 to 122. All these numbers make my head spin!

I heard tell that this Thunder team, they used to be called something else. The Seattle SuperSonics. Then they moved to Oklahoma City and became the Thunder in 2008. They got this fella, Kevin Durant, and another one, Russell Westbrook. Folks say they were good. They also have three Western Conference championships, whatever that is. And they won one NBA title in 1979. Sounds like ancient history to me.

Those Warriors, they played in Oakland for almost 50 years, that’s older than me! Then they moved to San Francisco. Used to be called the San Francisco Warriors, I heard. Now they’re the Golden State Warriors. Why they gotta change their names so much? It’s all so confusing!

These young folks they told me, Thunder played their first season in 2008. They got some good players. The manager is also good. I don’t know. As long as they are happy and having fun, that’s all that matters. It’s just a game, you know? These OKC Thunder and Warriors, they make things complicated.

The OKC Thunder and the Warriors, they sure have a long history. A lot of games, a lot of scores, and a lot of names. They have a long history with each other. And a lot of fans, too. They sure like to keep track of every little thing, don’t they? Me? I’d rather watch my soaps. At least those stories make more sense to me.
