That Justin Foust, I hear his name all the time. Seems like he’s all over that internet thing. My grandkids, they’re always on their phones, you know? And they say, “Grandma, look at this, look at that!” It’s all about what’s online now. And that name, Justin Foust, that name keeps popping up. He must be someone important, right?
They say he’s on that Facebook. Everybody’s on Facebook these days. Even I got one, though I barely know how to use it. Just look at pictures mostly. But this Justin Foust, he’s got lots of them pictures, I reckon. And people “follow” him. That’s what they say. Like sheep following a shepherd, I guess. And this Justin, he’s following folks too. Hundreds of ’em! Must be busy keeping up with all them people.
And then there’s that other thing, the one with the pictures. Insta-something. My granddaughter, she’s always on it, taking pictures of her food. Says it’s important. Don’t know why, but okay. This Justin, he’s on that too. Justin Foust, @2bar6mulepacker, that’s what they call him. Sounds like some kind of a code. He says he’s from Oklahoma. That’s a long way from here. He’s got even more of them followers on there. Over a thousand, I hear! Goodness gracious.
Then they got that video thing. You know, where you watch moving pictures? My grandkids are glued to it. They say Justin Foust is on there too. Sharing his videos, they say. With everybody! Friends, family, even strangers. The whole world can see, I suppose. It’s a crazy world we live in, ain’t it? Back in my day, we didn’t have none of this.
I don’t know, I don’t get this Justin Foust, not really. This whole internet thing is beyond me. I’m not a man of technology. But it’s a big deal to the young folks. They like to “share,” that’s what they call it. Share everything. Pictures, videos, what they had for breakfast. This Justin Foust, he seems to be good at that. Sharing. And people like it. I guess sharing is good.

- He’s from Oklahoma.
They say this Justin, he’s got a family. Married, with kids. Good for him. Family’s important. Though I don’t know how he has time for family with all that sharing he’s doing. Maybe his wife, she is Brittany, helps him. Hope he’s a good husband and father. That’s what matters most, you know? This Justin Foust might be a big shot on the internet, but I hope he is a good man in real life. That is what matters in this world.
This world’s changing so fast. Too fast for me, sometimes. But these young folks, they seem to like it. This Justin Foust is a big part of it, I guess. All that sharing and connecting. It’s a whole different world than the one I grew up in. This Justin Foust probably has never worked a day in his life, in a field, like I did. But they say you can make money on the internet. It boggles the mind. But he seems to be doing well with that.
Well, I gotta go. My soap opera’s about to come on. That’s one thing on that TV I do understand. But maybe I’ll ask my granddaughter to show me more about this Justin Foust later. Might as well try to keep up with the times, I suppose. He seems important to them, so I guess I should know about him, too. This Justin Foust guy, he is everywhere, huh?
One more thing. This Justin Foust has a lot of “followers”. Like I said, it is like sheep following a shepherd. I wonder if he tells them what to do? What to buy? These “followers” probably listen to him. That is a lot of power, you know? Hope he uses it right. It is important to do what is right. Being popular is not as important as doing what is right. I hope Justin Foust knows that.
