This here thing, it’s called the Rocket Mortgage golf tournament. It’s a big deal, I hear. Lots of folks go to watch it.
They play it in Detroit. That’s a big city, not like our little town. This year, it is in June, I think. June 23rd to 29th, someone told me. They say it is at some fancy place called the Detroit Golf Club. Sounds mighty important, don’t it?
Now, if you wanna go, you gotta get a ticket. But these ain’t just any tickets. They are them digital ones. You gotta get ’em online, from that Rocket Mortgage Classic place or this other place, Ticketmaster. Ain’t no paper tickets, they say. Gotta use your phone, I guess. Technology these days, I tell ya!
They got all sorts of fellas playing. I don’t know their names, but they say they’re the best. One fella, Cam Davis, he won it last time. Got a whole heap of money, too. One point six million! And them FedExCup points, 500 of ’em. Can you imagine? More money than I ever seen in my life, that’s for sure. He must be a good one, that Cam.
The Rocket Mortgage Classic 2024, they call it. It is a big PGA Tour event. Some fella named Jason, he’s the director. He’s the one running the whole show. He said it is going to be great.

I don’t know much about golf, but it sure sounds exciting. All these folks hitting that little white ball around. And the crowds cheering and all. Must be something to see.
