Okay, here’s my experience testing the top speed of the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

I’ve been riding for a while now, and I finally got my hands on a Royal Enfield Classic 350. This bike is a real beauty, with its classic design and that signature thump. But the big question on my mind was, how fast can this thing actually go? So, I decided to find out for myself.

First off, I made sure the bike was in good shape. Checked the tires, brakes, and all that jazz. Safety first, you know? Then, I found a nice, long stretch of open road with no traffic. The perfect spot to push this bike to its limits.

I started off slow, getting a feel for the bike’s power. The 349cc engine has a decent amount of torque, so it picked up speed pretty smoothly. As I opened up the throttle, the engine started to roar, and I could feel the bike really come alive.

The Test

  • 0-60 km/h: The bike reached 60 km/h in about 6 seconds. Not bad at all for a cruiser like this.
  • 60-80 km/h: This is where the Classic 350 really shines. It felt smooth and stable, and the engine wasn’t even breaking a sweat.
  • 80-100 km/h: Things started to get a bit shaky here. The bike was still accelerating, but I could feel some vibrations.
  • 100-115 km/h: Okay, this was definitely pushing it. The engine was screaming, and the whole bike was shaking. I hit about 115 km/h and decided to back off.

Now, some people online say they’ve gotten this bike up to 131 km/h, but honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe it depends on the rider’s weight, or whether the bike is still in its initial break-in period, but I didn’t have an opportunity to test those conditions yet. It just didn’t feel safe or comfortable at that speed. Maybe I could get it there, but I wouldn’t want to push my luck.

So, there you have it. In my experience, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 can comfortably cruise at around 100 km/h, and I managed to get it up to 115 km/h. It’s not the fastest bike out there, but it’s definitely got enough power for a fun and enjoyable ride. And let’s be real, if you’re buying a Classic 350, you’re probably not looking for a speed demon anyway. You’re looking for that classic style and that thumping good time, which this bike delivers in spades.
