Man, oh man, what a ride it’s been following the Green Bay Packers this season! I’ve been tracking their playoff chances like a hawk, and let me tell you, it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions.
First off, I started digging into their schedule and results. I went through each game, week by week, seeing how they performed. Wins, losses, close calls – I noted them all down. It was like piecing together a puzzle, trying to see the bigger picture of their season.
Then, I got into the nitty-gritty of the playoff picture. I mean, who’s in, who’s out, who’s on the bubble? This stuff can get confusing real fast. So, I made this big chart, you know, with all the NFC teams. I started marking down wins and losses, trying to figure out potential scenarios. “If Packers win this and that team loses that, then what?” It was a lot of “what ifs”!
I remember that Monday night game against the Saints. Boy, was that a game-changer! The Packers didn’t just win; they dominated, 34-0! That win was huge. It officially got them a spot in the playoffs. I was so pumped; I literally jumped off my couch!

The Bears game was another nail-biter. It looked like the Packers might end up as the No. 6 seed if they won and the Commanders lost. Otherwise, they’d be the No. 7 seed. I kept refreshing the scores, hoping for the best. The way I see it, seed number 6 or 7, it is all good as long as they are in!
Looking At The Odds
I also checked out some betting odds, just for fun. At the start of the season, the Packers had +6500 odds to win the Super Bowl. But now? Those odds are up to +2500! That’s a massive jump and shows how much they’ve improved.
The Playoff Chances
Now, here’s the kicker. I found this cool stats model thing that showed the Packers had a 99% chance of making the playoffs. 99%! That’s almost a sure thing. At that point I start to relax a little bit and just enjoy the games.
So, after all this digging and tracking, I’ve got a pretty good handle on the Packers’ playoff picture. They are either going to be the No. 6 or 7 seed in the NFC. They are going to play away game. It could be against the Eagles, or other two possible teams. Either way, they’re in the playoffs, and that’s what matters. I am very happy to see this result.
