Okay, so I just finished watching “Home Turf” Season 1, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride! I started watching this because, you know, everyone was talking about it, and I felt left out.
First off, I gotta say, the first few episodes were a bit slow. I was like, “When is something gonna happen?” But then, boom! Episode 7 hit, and suddenly there’s this serial killer on the loose. I was hooked! I mean, who doesn’t love a good mystery, right?
Then, as I kept watching, the story started to pick up more and more. There’s this character, Rand, and he’s kinda the main guy, I guess. Him and Moiraine, they go to this place called the Eye of the World. Sounds cool, huh? And then, Rand, he gets sucked into this dream world by this super bad dude called the Dark One. In this dream, he’s all happy, married to Egwene with a kid. It was kinda nice to see, but you knew it wasn’t real, you know?
I also started to get into some of the other stories, like with this lady, Rachel. She got hurt, like, really bad, and couldn’t walk anymore. So she couldn’t be chosen for something important. Then there’s this guy, Baam, he’s kinda weird, but he’s important too. He finds out he’s not normal, like, at all. So him and a bunch of other people, they decide to take this crazy test to help Rachel. It was pretty intense, I’m not gonna lie.
And the drama with Homelander and Stillwell? Oh boy. So Stillwell finally tells Homelander the truth about something, and he just… kills her! Can you believe it? I was yelling at the screen! Then, Butcher, he tries to blow everything up, but Homelander saves him and takes him to some random neighborhood. It was all so crazy!
- Character Focus: Got invested in Rand, Rachel, Baam, Homelander, and the whole gang. Their stories just pulled me in, even if it took a while.
- Plot Twists: The serial killer, the dream world, the special test, and that whole Homelander and Stillwell thing – I did not see any of that coming!
- Binge-Watching: After episode 7, I just couldn’t stop. I had to know what happened next.
And the ending? They showed this other character, Jules, and she’s all alone, fighting some big problem by herself. And there’s also these four, AJ, Ruby, Isaac, and Zack, trying to move some kind of curse. They’re trying to put it on their neighbor! It’s all so weird and messed up, but I couldn’t look away.
Now I’m just sitting here, thinking about everything that happened. It’s like, what’s gonna happen in Season 2? I’ve got so many questions! It was a slow start, but “Home Turf” definitely got me in the end. I’m officially on the hype train now. I need to talk to someone about this!

- Is Rand ever gonna get out of that dream world?
- What’s gonna happen to Rachel? Can she ever walk again?
- Will Baam and his friends ever pass that test?
- Why did Homelander do what he did? And what’s up with that neighborhood?
- What’s Jules gonna do all alone?
- Are AJ, Ruby, Isaac, and Zack really gonna curse their neighbor?
I guess I just gotta wait for Season 2 to find out. Anyone else seen “Home Turf”? Let’s talk about it! I need to get this all out of my system!
