Okay, so I’ve been sinking some serious time into Stellar Blade lately, and let me tell you, the fishing mini-game is way more addictive than I expected. I’m on a mission to catch every darn fish in this game, and today’s big score? The elusive Halibut.
Now, I had heard whispers about this flat boi, but actually reeling him in was a whole other story. I spent hours casting my line in different spots, trying to figure out the secret sauce. Finally, I cracked the code.
Finding the Right Spot
- First, I tried that spot under the Clock Tower in Eidos 7. The atmosphere was cool and all, but the fish just weren’t biting. I was starting to think the Halibut was just a myth.
- Then, I remembered a little cave I stumbled upon in the Wasteland, way up in the northwest corner. It felt like a hidden gem, and guess what? It was! This was the Halibut’s hideout.
Using the Right Bait
This is important, folks. You can’t just throw any old worm in the water and expect a Halibut to jump on your hook. These guys have refined tastes. I messed around with a bunch of different baits, and after wasting a ton of time.
Fish Slice is the magic ingredient. Don’t even bother with anything else. It was a great time.
I cast my line with the Fish Slice, waited for that familiar tug, and BAM! The fight was on. It wasn’t too crazy, but definitely more of a struggle than those little Small Fish. After a bit of back and forth, I finally landed the sucker. A beautiful, large-sized Halibut. Felt pretty good, not gonna lie.
The Reward
Now, I’m not just doing this for the thrill of the catch. There’s a dude named Clyde who’s basically the fishing guru in this game. He’s got this whole collection thing going, and I found that he will reward you with something after you catch all of the fish. It is called Ocean Maid outfit. He said that this outfit is made for swimming, that makes me curious.
