Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this UFC thing, specifically the whole Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall drama. Dana White, the big boss of UFC, he’s been saying for a while now that these two are gonna throw down in 2025. He’s practically guaranteeing it, like, “Yeah, it’s 100 percent happening,” that kind of talk. Got me all hyped up, you know?
So, I started digging into it. First, I tried to find any confirmation from White after the last UFC event of 2024, which was on December 14th. Turns out, he did confirm it! He said it’s the biggest fight in UFC history and it’s definitely on. Man, that got me even more pumped. I had to see this fight.
Then I started looking into the fighters themselves. Aspinall, this dude is fast and he hits hard. I watched some of his fights, and wow, he’s a beast. But then there’s Jon Jones, a wrestling guy, bigger, longer reach… It’s tough to say who would win.

- Jon Jones: Experienced wrestler, big and strong.
I even tried to find some predictions from other fighters. Found this one guy, Blaydes, he said it’s almost impossible to predict. Yeah, I get that. It’s like trying to pick between a sports car and a tank.
I started to get a little lost in all the talk. Aspinall thinks Jones is just using this to build hype, like a marketing thing. Maybe he’s right, who knows?
Then I stumbled upon some more drama. Apparently, Jones and this other fighter, Miocic, they were going back and forth online. Miocic said something like “Bring it on,” and Jones got all fired up and started tweeting. It’s like high school all over again, except these guys can actually beat each other up.
After spending hours going down this rabbit hole, I realized it’s a total mess. There’s so much talk, so many opinions, but no actual fight yet. I just wanted to see these two guys go at it. Hopefully it will happen in 2025.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure into the world of UFC and the Jones vs. Aspinall saga. It was a wild ride, and I’m still waiting for the main event!
