Jalen Duren first quarter stats: Breaking it down

So, I was fooling around with some NBA stats today, specifically for Jalen Duren, and I decided to dig into his first-quarter performance this season. I gotta say, it’s been a bit of a journey, but I’ve got some interesting numbers to share.

Jalen Duren first quarter stats: Breaking it down

First things first, I started by looking at Jalen Duren’s overall stats, you know, to get a general idea. I’m no pro analyst, just a guy who likes basketball and numbers. I found some general stuff online, like his average points per game and his total rebounds. Seemed like he’s been pulling down a lot of boards, both defensive and offensive. Nice!

Then, I focused on his first-quarter stats. This was a bit trickier. I couldn’t find a simple, straightforward list of just his first-quarter points anywhere. So, I went game by game. I pulled up the box scores for each game he’s played in this season. It was a bit tedious, but hey, I was committed.

  • I went through each game log, noting down his points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. All that good stuff.
  • It was kind of cool seeing the game-by-game breakdown. Some games he’d start strong, other games not so much.

After I had all the data, I started doing some simple math. Adding up his points, rebounds, etc. and I calculate his average stats from these games in the first quarter, The numbers aren’t too surprising if you’ve been following him, but it’s cool to see it all laid out.

For example, I noticed he’s been averaging around 2.7 points in the first quarter. Not bad, but it’s interesting to see how it varies from game to game. Also saw that he’s averaging 1.1 blocks per game overall, which is pretty solid. For rebounds, based on what I gathered, he’s been a beast on the boards, especially offensive ones.

My Results

This wasn’t some deep statistical analysis or anything. I’m just a dude who likes basketball and thought it would be fun to see what Jalen Duren’s been up to in the first quarter. I do want to share the numbers with you guys, because maybe it’ll spark some interesting discussions. Maybe you guys can spot some trends that I missed!

Anyway, that’s my little data adventure for the day. It was fun, a little time-consuming, but definitely interesting. I might do this again for other players or different stats. We’ll see!
