Hey everyone, so I’ve been trying to figure out how to catch the NBA Draft live, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the journey. I thought I’d share what I did, so maybe it can help some of you out.

First off, I wanted to make sure I could watch it live. So, I started by doing a bunch of searches online. I typed in things like “NBA Draft livestream” and “how to watch NBA Draft online.” Lots of stuff popped up, which was a bit overwhelming at first.
After sifting through a ton of pages, I found out that there are a few different ways to watch it. The main ones that caught my eye were ABC, the ABC app, and some streaming services like Fubo, YouTube TV, and DirecTV Stream. These seemed like the most legit options.
Now, I tried the ABC app first. I downloaded it on my phone and opened it up. It was pretty straightforward. I just had to navigate to the live section, and there it was, the NBA Draft was supposed to be airing. I tested this during a live program to see if it worked, and it did!
- Download the ABC app.
- Open the app.
- Navigate to the live TV section.
- Look for the NBA Draft.
Next, I checked out Fubo. I went to their website and saw that they have a “Pro” channel package that includes ABC. So, I signed up for a trial—gotta love those free trials! I made sure to set a reminder to cancel it later, though, just in case I didn’t want to keep it.
Then there was YouTube TV. They have a “Base Plan” that also includes ABC. I already had an account, so I just logged in and browsed through the channels. Sure enough, ABC was there, and they were advertising the NBA Draft.

Trying Out DirecTV Stream
Lastly, I looked into DirecTV Stream. They mentioned that the “Entertainment” package or higher would have it. I decided to give their trial a shot too. Signed up, found ABC, and it was all set. Their interface was a little clunky, but it worked.
So, after all that, I successfully watched the first round of the NBA Draft live on ABC through the app. It was awesome! I felt like I really accomplished something by figuring it all out, you know?
Anyways, I hope this helps some of you who were as confused as I was. Just remember, you can use the ABC app, or try out Fubo, YouTube TV, or DirecTV Stream. Happy watching!
