My Quest for the Robert Duncan 2024 Calendar
Alright, so another year was winding down, you know how it is, and the thought popped into my head: new calendar time! And not just any old calendar, mind you. For years, I’ve been a big fan of Robert Duncan’s work. There’s just something about his paintings, that peaceful country vibe, that I really like having on my wall all year long.
So, my mission began. I figured, easy peasy, right? Just hop online and grab one. I started with the usual search terms, you know, “Robert Duncan calendar 2024,” “new Robert Duncan art calendar,” that sort of thing. My go-to online spots were the first I checked. And well, that’s where things got a bit tricky.
First few clicks, nothing. Or worse, I’d see listings for 2023, or even 2022! I was like, come on, people, it’s almost 2024, where are they? I spent a good bit of time scrolling, clicking through different sites. Some art-focused places, some bigger general retailers. It was a bit frustrating, I gotta admit. I started to wonder if maybe they weren’t making one this year, or if I was just super late to the party and they were all snatched up.
I remember thinking, should I just give up? Get one of those generic landscape ones? But no, I really had my heart set on a Duncan. His art just brings a certain warmth to the room. So, I dug my heels in. I tried slightly different search phrases, went a bit deeper into the search results than I normally would. You know, page 3, page 4… the digital wilderness!
Then, finally, on some site I hadn’t checked initially, there it was. A listing for the 2024 Robert Duncan calendar. Relief! It felt like I’d unearthed a hidden treasure. I double-checked it was actually for 2024, didn’t want to make that mistake after all that searching. It was a bit of a process, more than I expected for just buying a calendar.
I placed the order, and then it was the waiting game. When the package finally arrived, I was pretty chuffed. Opened it up, and yeah, it was perfect. The quality was good, the images were beautiful, just as I’d hoped. Each month, a new scene. It’s already up on the wall, and it just makes me happy looking at it.
